THE DESIGNER

As a passionate designer and entrepreneur, Shay Lowe creates stunning jewellery that makes a statement.

Based in Toronto, Shay is a dedicated supporter of the arts community and was a founding Co-Chair of Turnout, The National Ballet of Canada’s young professionals group. She has sat on numerous committees, including Rethink Breast Cancer’s annual Boobyball, The Ontario Science Centre’s LG Innovators’ Ball, and Operanation for The Canadian Opera Company. She is currently a committee member of Artbound, the Design Exchange Black and White Gala, an outreach alumni member of the Toronto Fashion Incubator, and a Mentor in the Passion for Fashion program.

Noted as a 'Designer on the Rise', she was chosen as one of the Top 15 Designers across Canada for the Cashmere 2010 campaign featured at The Bay, Shay’s ambitious and striking designs have also earned her a coveted position as one of Toronto’s Most Creative Women, featured in Pierre Maraval’s exhibit during Luminato, Toronto Mille Femmes.

Shay's work will be featured in a coffee table book by Swarovski, released in May 2012. She also has a chapter in the best selling series, Making It in High Heels 3rd edition on women entrepreneurs, to be released in the fall of 2012.

Bold, alluring, and statement-making, Shay Lowe Jewellery Design’s philosophy is, “Be Extraordinary”. We are a designer jewellery lifestyle brand focused on luxury, glamour, and beauty within. The Collections are inspired by art, culture, travel, love, society, and old world glamour, and each piece has a signature sparkle and bold design. Shay Lowe's designs have been featured on the cover of FLARE magazine, at LG Fashion Week, in Fashion magazine, on Entertainment Tonight Canada and ETalk Daily, at the Emmy Awards, the Gemini Awards, and on Breakfast Television.

In 2011, Shay Lowe Jewellery Design was selected by Swarovski Austria to create a piece for their international exhibit showcasing top and emerging talent worldwide. The exhibit piece travelled to New York, Paris, and Hong Kong.

Shay Lowe Jewellery was chosen to design a tutu for The National Ballet's Tutu Project, commemorating its 60th Anniversary. This special project will be on exhibition at The Design Exchange this summer with each tutu up for auction.

With a focus on philanthropy, Shay Lowe’s designs have been featured in countless silent auctions, and has launched a special project with Toronto’s Sheena's Place, the Heart 2 Heart Campaign, to raise $25,000 for its support programs.

Every design is custom made to order in Toronto and New York.
